This Privacy Policy explains how Galadriel Labs ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Lirelia, our ebook reader and audiobook player application and related support services.
Summary
Lirelia is designed to collect only the information needed to provide, maintain, and improve your reading and listening experience, including privacy controls for data choices and deletion requests.
Information Lirelia May Collect
Lirelia is designed to collect only the information needed to provide, maintain, and improve your reading and listening experience. Depending on which features you use, Lirelia may collect or store:
- Account information: identifiers such as email address, user ID, authentication details, and profile settings when you sign in to enable cloud sync and account-based features.
- Library data: book and audiobook titles, authors, series, genres, tags, collections, cover and metadata references, and organization preferences for the items in your library.
- Reading and listening progress: your current position, chapter, completion status, playback speed, sleep timer settings, and recently opened items so you can continue exactly where you left off.
- Highlights, bookmarks and notes: passages you highlight, bookmarks you save, and notes you write, including their location within a book and any related timestamps.
- Reading habits and goals: reading and listening time, streaks, milestones, completed books, and reading goals used to power reading statistics and challenges.
- App preferences: fonts, themes, spacing, reading modes, audio settings, notification preferences, and other settings you choose in the app.
- Imported files: books and audiobooks you import are stored on your device. We do not need the contents of your imported files to provide normal app functionality, though supported metadata and progress may sync if you enable sync.
- Device and app diagnostics: device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, performance data, error logs, and basic usage events used to diagnose reliability issues.
- Support communications: messages you send to us, contact information you provide, screenshots or attachments you choose to include, and related troubleshooting details.
